MSN 6 Alerts

Greetings:
I'm not receiving MSN Messenger v.6 message or e-mail
alerts on my main account. I don't have any problem
signing in. I've checked the settings, changed my
password, called MSN, and even, uninstalled and
reinstalled the program. I do get alerts on a secondary
account.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
