MSN Messenger 6.2 wont install

I'm having trouble installing MSN Messenger on a Windows
XP Pro SP2 machine. Windows Messenger 5 will
install/uninstall without problem.

I suspect I have a problem with publishing assemblies
during SxS installation in general... any help will be
appreciated

Here is a reply I got to exactly the same problem
haven't tried it yet but will this afternoon, authors
rights have been ascerted 'cause I included his name

Do you happen to have the Ad-Watch feature enabled in Ad-
aware? If so, disable it and try
again.

I had the same problem with an upgrade(Windows messenger 5.0 to the latest
5.1 version. I keep getting error 1935 .I Disabled the Ad Watch featture in
Ad-aware as suggested in this thread and everything worked fine on the
upgrade. Thanks for this correct suggestion.
