multi boot with xp32 and vista64?

system if i have win32 xp installed? i read that if i want correct and
working multiboot, i have to install vista in xp not booting from dvd, and
trying to boot from dvd, vista setup doesn't see my sata raid drive on epox
m/b... can anyone help?
what's the difference between 32 an 64 bit vistas? maybe i can simply
install 32 bit and enjoy as i did with xp? anyway 64 bit xp didn't improve
anything over 32 bit version.... just PITA due to driver mess...
