I recently bought Windows XP and want to know if I install
it on two computers if I will be able to receive all
updates and service packs on both computers.

Like all other consumer Microsoft OSs, you can only install Windows XP
on one computer.
If you want Windows XP on two computers, you need to buy another copy.

You can install it on 2 computers, but you will not be able to activate the
second one. after the grace period is up, it will no longer boot into
windows.
You will need to purchase a second license.

You don't need to buy another copy, but you do need to
buy another liscense for your current copy. Search the
microsoft site (or this board) for multiple liscenses.

Which will probably be more expensive than buying a complete copy from a
discount store......
