Multiple Sound Cards

Posted: 09-30-2003, 02:40 PM
Is it possible to have two sound cards attatched to Windows XP? (And have
them function correctly). I'm trying to have two sets of speakers and
thought this might work. I have a fairly recent sound card (came with a high
end computer last year), and an older one that has worked in the past with
Windows XP.

Let me know if anyone has any luck with this. I'm specifically trying to run
Microsoft Media Player through only one of them (if possible), else, I'd run
it through both cards.
