Multiple windows keeps opening when opening folder in Windows Explorer

Hi all,
In Windows Explorer, when I double click on a folder to open it, it opens a
new window. When Iclick ona folder in the new window it opens in the same
window. How do I set it so that in Windows Explorer, it opens the folder in
the same windows explorer rather than opening a new folder?

In Windows Explorer, select Tools/Folder Options/View tab. In the Browse
Options section, click the "Open folders in same window" option.

Thanks for the reply,

I have that option set.

I have also tried to set the hkey_root/directory in the registry.

I am kind of at a loss at what to do....
