music files converted to script?

Posted: 09-26-2003, 05:36 AM
All of my music files and jpgs are slowly being converted
to a script file. These script files are extremly
difficult to delete, but everytime i download a song or
picture, or even have pictures saved on my computer after
about a week they are coverted to a script file that i am
unable to open. When I look into the properties of these
files they are still listed as jpgs or mp3s however I am
supposed to open them with "Microsoft (r) Windows based
script" If someone could please tell me how to stop this
from happening or even how to open these files so I can
listen to them I would be very thankful.
