My CD drives have dissapeared!!! Help pls!!!

Hi there, please someone help me, I was installing the Music CD
Studio, but the installation crashed, then I rebooted and a weird
program told me my winaspi (I think) and pxengine files were
corrupted, and if I wanted to delete them. Sadly I did so, and now my
two dvd drivers are gone!!!! can anyone help, I don't know what to do.
I managed to download the pxengine update, but the drivers still don't
show.

Help pls TIA!!!!!

Providing both are still seen by the BIOS, try Alex Nichol's solution to the
disappearing CD drive
