Default My user account, can't find my settings

Everytime i try log into my user account lately, it says
it is having difficulties finding my settings....none of
the other accounts on my computer have had any
problems....and even when i try put all my settings back
the way they were before everytime i log out it goes back
to how it started....everything gets deleted, pictures
documents arent there unless i search for them...how can
i get my settings and stuff back to how it was before
without it being erased everytime i log out?....Any help
would be very appreciated...please e-mail me if you can
help...i really need it
