Nano 3G

Can 'yall help me with a problem?

I am very unhappy with the latest release iTunes (iTurd?) Verision
7.5.0.20

The biggest problem is that it stops ripping if I change focus from
iTurds to something else and back.

What other versions support the third generation Nano? I don't care
much about the video capabilities.
