Narrator will not "stay" off.

I started narrator to see how it works. Now I can not get it to shut off. It
starts every time I boot up. I found a box to un ck in: Accessories/Ease of
Access/Ease of
Access Center/. there is a box to ck or uncheck that says turn on Narrator.
But everytime I uncheck it, it just checks itself somehow next time I boot,
or if I go back and see if its still unchecked.
Is there another way to stop narrator from starting up?
