| I have the removal tool, everything is setup, works great, just one problem, I have malicious software on my computer it won't remove, I cannot find it, have searched extensively throughout my computer, it is no where to be found. Searched the given address for it and cannot get to it, please any suggestions would be appreciated. | Guest

| Was thinking that myself :-) I take it by having 'Tried all else' you have ran an anti-spyware program such as Defender (Included with Vista) Spybot or Ad-Aware or similar? Trac "Snuff" <snuffin@all2worry4.com> wrote in message news:hioka3hebclrr7mqg01hcktejqgu2p3bem@4ax.com... Quote:

You might also try using the free Avast antivirus. It's a good one to. Trojanhunter. I used it earlier this year to remove some malware that would have required a reformat, had i not come across Trojanhunter. A number of on line postings attested to the fact that TrojanHunter was the only option for removing that particularly nasty item. It worked like a charm! Trojanhunter is free to use for 15 days, IIRC. I hope I never need to use it again, though. Good luck.Dave | Guest

| Dialer_Coulomb, I'm not very familiar with spyware ,adware adn the like becasue up until this my defender and AVGT kept them out, don't understand how it got through but Avast didnt' pick it up. Real Time Spyware Protection in Trend caught it. Is it particularly bad or stubborn? I don't know if anyone does let me know, this is all I can find about it - This dialer creates dial-up settings without a user's permission or intervention. I cna get to the file it's supposedly in but it's not there, no matter what mode but REal Time keeps throwing it up and I can't seem to get it off. Will it not hurt? "Peter Foldes" wrote: Quote:
