| Hello, I can´t have access to any of computers running the XP OS in my network, from my computer running Vista. I have already runned the KB922120 patch on all XP PC's and I can see them all in the network map. But only my computer (with Vista) appears in the network window and I can only get access to my own shared files - this happened both with wireless an ethernet networks. Thank you, Phil | Guest

| If you can map them but browse, it could be the computer browser issue. You may want to use browstat.exe to check the master browser status. | I disabled the master browser but it didn´t work. the network places continued with nothing but my folders and the router I didn't downloaded browstat.exe because I could only find those support tools for XP (and there was no assurance of compatibility) I can ping the computores near me that ar using XP. Can there be another thing that I try? "Robert L [MVP - Networking]" wrote: Quote:

| Hi Phil, I have Vista Home Premium networked with 2 XP Pro computers. Make sure the network is named the same. Vista uses Workgroup. Vista Home premium does not work on a domain. -- Paul "Phil" wrote: Quote:
