| Hi, here’s hoping you can help solve my Network problem. When I access my correctly mapped network drive, Vista (Home Premium) asks me for my username and password even though I provided it when I mapped it originally and chose the option to “reconnect at log on”. Is there a way to for Vista to remember my password so I don’t need to do this each time, it drives me nuts! (Please subscribe to this thread so you can get updates).. Thanks in advance | Guest

| I have the same problem here. I map a network drive, but have to re-enter the password everytime I connect. But what's worse, I can network a printer, print off of it, but if I restart or have to reconnect, I have to delete the printer and re-add it to be able to print again. I have no idea how to correct this. "Durrson" wrote: Quote:

| If you cerate the same username and password in both computers, it won't ask the password any more. | I am having the same problem as above. What happens is you sucessfully connect to share drives and NAS units using a User Name and Password, however, after rebooting, it does not retain the password thus causing you to have to re-enter everything. I am not on a domain....any suggestions? thanks. -- mgoolsby ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mgoolsby's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=31461 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=717695 http://forums.techarena.in | Guest
