Network Drive Does not Remember Password (Vista)

Hi, here’s hoping you can help solve my Network problem.

When I access my correctly mapped network drive, Vista (Home Premium) asks
me for my username and password even though I provided it when I mapped it
originally and chose the option to “reconnect at log on�.

Is there a way to for Vista to remember my password so I don’t need to do
this each time, it drives me nuts!

I have the same problem here. I map a network drive, but have to re-enter
the password everytime I connect. But what's worse, I can network a printer,
print off of it, but if I restart or have to reconnect, I have to delete the
printer and re-add it to be able to print again. I have no idea how to
correct this.

If you cerate the same username and password in both computers, it won't ask the password any more. Or this post may help,

Vista common issue - can see but ...Vista common issue - can see but access ... So, the common issues sharing are 1) you may be able to see it but access. 2) you may be able to open it but ...

I am having the same problem as above. What happens is you sucessfully
connect to share drives and NAS units using a User Name and Password,
however, after rebooting, it does not retain the password thus causing
you to have to re-enter everything. I am not on a domain....any
suggestions?
