network key request

Does anyone have a problem similiar to this: Vista beta keeps requesting for
me to input my network key. I am on a network but LAN and it is working
obviously ( I would not be able to log on) and I did disabled my adapter in
device manager but it still asks for a network key every minute or 3. I have
also given it my network key but the message still appears. How can I get rid
of this pop-up from my taskbar. I cannot right click it to disable it
manually.. Can anyone suggest a scenario...
