Network Printing Problems/virus

My company has a Dell server running Windows 2000 and 6 desktops in the network running XP. We are unable to print through the network except for 1 of the desktops. My consultant told me that they found a worm on our server that was the culprit. They have thusfar been unable to remove it totally. They printing situation still exists. I have now been told that the server must be re-built.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
