I have a home network - I work from my desktop and my kids use my laptop and
want to be able to print from it. I have 2, sometimes 3 printers attached to
my "Officedesktop". However, whenever we try to print from the laptop, we
have to login or "Connect to Officedesktop". I would like to allow access to
both printers without that step. The only reference I have found, perhaps to
this problem is at this link...
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/NetPrinterAllUsers.htm
but I am not all that comfortable trying to implement its procedures. My
question is, isn't there an easier way? I have gone through all the printer
sharing on the Officedesktop and appear to be sharing with all users, but it
still requires a login step. Before I hassle with the above link, I want to
be sure that is the right direction. Thanks for any assistance.
