| i have a pc running xp and recently purchased a laptop running home basci vista. I have both to belkin router for wireless(lapotop) and ethernet(desktop) connections. is it possible to create a home network so that i can view the materials from one computer to another and also print from both to ne printer? | Guest

| Using your Win XP Desktop, go to the control pannel and in the network area it will allow you to set up a network setup disk (it defaults to A:\) copy the files to a flash drive and run it under vista. Also right click the folders you want to share and enable sharing. That should be about it. Let me know if any problems. -- Every day is a good day, its just a matter of perspective. | Trumiester, I have this same problem, but can use the internet on my new Vista laptop. However, I tried running the network wizard and the Vista laptop said that I could not add the computer to the network. Thanks for your help. "Trumiester" wrote: Quote:
