Default Networking with Linksys and Vista

Help!!!! I am trying to network both of my desktop computors with a Linksys
router, both are windows vista,my new one is vista premium and the older one
is vista basic, I run through all of the installation and setup steps
required on both computors and no matter what I do I can only get one of them
to access the internet at a time and they can't see each other.Does anyone
have any sugesstions to solve this problem?

ok...go to: Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt >
then in this window type - ipconfig /all > C:\<foldername>\save.doc
where: foldername is the name of a folder that you can select just under the
C: drive
and: observer spaces please.
Then you can copy paste the contents of the save.doc file in the newsgroup
for each computer from that folder.

if you type in this:
ipconfig /all > C:\<foldername>\save.doc
This says run ipconfig with all options and put the output on the C drive in
folder named (you specify) in document called save.doc
the output should be in the save.doc document in the folder you specified.
and it's good that Ip routing is disabled. That's right.
