I usually right click the icon - scroll to open with - browse to the
programme you want and hey presto.

go to the control panel (click on classic view on the left side -pane if
its not already clicked) and click the default programs icon

it has entries there to do that

Thank you for your quick response...

In some instances only the "open" option is available in the righ
click context menu but not the "open with" option
