New Mobile Center update not fixed sync problem

I've just installed the new Mobile Center update. I thought it will solve
the "Outlook is not configured" problem when trying to sync with my PocketPC
device.

But the problem is still there. :-(

Beta 1 would not install for me. Beta 2 installed fine. Still no synch
though. Is it true there is not yet supposed to be working synch for WM
2003SE devices? If so, will it ever be working?

Guys, i got the 5456 build, and dont seem to get any notification of a new
update at all, neither v1, nor v2 i was online all evening waiting to get my
Mobilecentre properly working. Is that normal, I have a WM5 device,
connecting via USB.

How do I get to Install the Update??

Users in this newsgroup only have build 5384. Please ask in the TechBeta
ng's. I'm sure you have access to those ng's since you got your 5456 via
Connect too. Right?

The updates are for us schmucks that are stuck in the CPP. If you are a
member of the techbeta...you will already have some of the functionality,
and should probably be using the newsgroups that are geared to that crowd...

I went to the add or remove programs, removed the wmdc, then went to windows
updates, installed the updates again and the same thing happeneds. I guess
there is no way around it.

You can sync Windows Mobile 2003 devices only through Exchange at present,
not to the desktop.
It says "Outlook is not configured" because the Sync Center can't handle the
task.

Windows Mobile 2005 devices can sync both through Exchange and to the
desktop.
