New printer causing crashes

I just installed a new Epson C82 onto my computer with
Windows XP and now a variety of programs will crash or
freeze even if I am not printing. I have alos lost the
ability to work with linked database programs and I can't
email invoices from Quickbooks anymore - it tries to sen
the email to the printer. I have tried uninstalling and
re-installing the printer to no avail. HELP!

When you uninstalled, did you do the complete uninstall as per
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20One.htm

Check with the manufacturers of Quicken for updates to their software.
There have been problems reported with different Quicken products.
