New problems in 5744 (RC2)

Hi,
I wonder if anything can be done with things that worked in previous
builds, but don't in the RC2 one.

For example, I'm told that I cannot undock my notebook because a program is
accessing LPT1. This never happened before and I have no special software
installed. More frustrating is that the resolution is after each resume from
sleep set down to 640x480 without any message or error report. This also
wasn't happening before. And I'm fascinated that I have different audio
devices (like SPDIF) than before, resulting eg. in not having any output for
built-in reproductors - but I believe this is because of the drivers and get
corrected. Some examples more can be found.
