Hi.
I've been running my machine with XP Pro with a two 320Gig SATA Raid and
with two different sized SATA disks(non RAID).
Anyways, Two days ago I installed Vista Ultimate to my machine.
Installation went just fine, it asked for the RAID drivers in the install
and I gave it to it. Vista got installled. Then after awhile I noticed that
I'm missing 2 harddrives! The ones that were not in the RAID.
They are not avaible in Disk Management at all.
The only place I can see them is in Device Manager-->Storage Controllers
---> NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller.
Without any hope to solve this I installed the Vista Sata/RAid drivers fron
a nVidia package. Now when I boot my machine the nVidia MediaShield ask me
choose how to put those 2 harddrives in the RAID array. I don't want them in
the RAID array. I want them separate and free.
I didnt do any changes to the BIOS prior to installing Vista, and in XP
everything worked like a charm.
How could I solve this? I want to be able to see and use my disks.. 400 gigs
not available.
Thank you for all ideas.
Using MSI K9N Platinum Motherboard, AMD 64 X2 4600+.
