Afther repairing XP (re-instalation of the operating
system), I can't get access to one of the userfolders.
Xp gives the message "access deniad".

Is there somebody who knows the procedure to repair this,
nothings to worked so far

Thx, peter

Did you look at the properties of the user in Computer Management to see
what it says?

Start
Control Panel
Administrative Tools
Computer Management.
Then in left tree window:
Expand Local Users and Groups
Highlight Users
Then in right details window:
Double or right click the inaccessible User to access Properties

You can also just highlight the User, if they appear, and check for
passwords. Passwords can be set under Action in the menu bar. If you
change the password without knowing the existing one encrypted and other
protected files can be lost.
