No ActiveX or Java yet eh?

Posted: 06-19-2006, 01:35 AM
Just installed vista and this is my first run with IE7. Takes some getting
used to but its not to bad. I did notice that there is no ActiveX or Java
available yet correct? Just wanted to make sure I am not missing a setting
or something.

Thanks,
Steve

Are you running the 32bit or 64bit Vista? Java etc fine here on 32bit
Vista. If using 64bitVista and the 64bit IE, then as yet I don't think
there are ActiveX/plugins support yet. Use the 32bit IE.

x64 has both x86 and x64 versions of IE for that reason.
