| The links are now back in the folder, thanks much. Although I don't know how or why they became missing. | Actually I did. I have TweakVI installed. 3 cleaners I've tried over the past week or so - One Click Cleanup, CClean, and Ace Utilities. I can't imagine a 3rd party cleaner thinking the shortcuts in the Administrative Tools folder are broken shortcuts, junk or unneeded files. I'll start paying a little more attention to what these programs are removing. James "Ramesh, MS-MVP" <ramesh@XOX.mvps.org> wrote in message news:%235vh7%23tbHHA.1296@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... | Must be caused by one of those cleaner programs, James. The following ones do not: work on my WxpProSP2 stytem. I assume some or all of them are available through a different shortcut or perhaps require a download from Microsoft. Can you help? I successfully changed the system configuration shortcut to point to C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\msconfig.exe 1) iSCSI Initiator - %SystemRoot%\system32\iscsicpl.exe 2) Memory Diagnostics Tool - %SystemRoot%\system32\MdSched.exe 3) Print Management - %systemroot%\system32\printmanagement.msc 4) Task Scheduler - %SystemRoot%\system32\taskschd.msc /s 5) Windows Firewall with Advanced Security - %SystemRoot%\system32\WF.msc | Guest
