No communicat. between Print. and XP if comp. WAS switched off

Posted: 07-08-2003, 08:21 PM
Printer Canon MPC200 on Windows-XP works fine after
installation.

If computer and printer have been switched off, nothing
works anymore: "unable to communicate with the device".
I tried everything, even uninstallation and new inst.,
with the same result as soon computer is switched off and
on again.
(Printer-status is "oneline" and
Units are aktivated)- at least apparently.

How come that it fails to communicate???

Peter
