 No internet, only Google I have just installed Vista Beta 2. Connection to internet through USR router. The only site I can connect to is Google, can't even see router at 192.168.1.1. I know the router is ok, using another machine on the network, to send this. I have no idea why Google functions ok, no other www site will work, not even MS. Any advice welcome Brunel | Guest

| Re: No internet, only Google I suggest checking your network connection settings... specifically the DNS settings. They should either be set to auto detect or should be given specific ip addresses. I had a similar problem and found that DNS was set to go to specific addresses but no addresses were there. Also check that you get the ip for this connection automatically or with a specific ip that your router knows about. Brunel wrote: Quote:
