No login after sleep/hibernate ultimate x64

Posted: 03-09-2008, 07:17 PM
I have set "require login" after wake from sleep in power config on new
laptop and also requiring login from return from screen saver. Not joined to
domain - when computer sleeps/hibernates it wakes up without requiring
reauthentication. This is a surprising security gaffe - anyone know what I
need to look at?

thx - Charlie

This worked for me: uncheck the require login after wake from sleep in power
config - save it - return and recheck it - save that. Apparently needs a
form of "power reset" - haha
