No MP3 Metadata in XP Home

Posted: 07-26-2003, 05:29 PM
When I first purchased XP home, the Album, Bit Rate,
Duration, and other such information on my MP3s would be
displayed in Windows Explorer. At some point, Windows
removed all this information, and those fields are now
empty. Is this Microsoft's subtle hint that I should
switch to WMA? Is there a way to get Windows to display
this information?

Thanks for any help.
