no sound from speakers!

are plugged in to the Sound card and not the modem card.
Some modem cards have sound ports where the plug will fit.
Next, rightclick the sound icon, bottom righthand corner
of your screen, click "Open Volume Control" and check if
none of the "Mute" blocks are checked. Then, same icon,
check "Adjust Audio Properties". Check each tab, volume
set at medium. Check "Speaker Settings" > Advanced >
Volume. If all else fails, go to below website, click "S"
and scroll down to: "Sound Troubleshooters"
