Posted: 01-27-2007, 08:27 PM
I am able to hear "system" sounds (i.e. asterick etc..)but am unable to tp
get sound from the internet and CD/DVD player.
I checked all setting in control panel. Volume is up and fine.
There NO?? speaker icon in my system tray.
The error message I get when I try to open a file in the Windows Media
Player is as follows: Windows Media Player c/not play this file because
there's a problem w/your sound device. There might not be a sound device
installed or it may be being used by another program..yada, yada.
Now what? I downloaded all possible Windows update as well.
Please help!
