No sound on some games

The sound on the games supplied with Vista on my new sony vio as stopped
working ie the games minesweeper solitare etc the only game that still as
sound is chess titans. Ive checked the settings in the games properties and
all the boxs are checked.
Any idea what the problem might be.

all i can say is that the games that you indicated here are all default game
on vista,tried to verify that everything is compatible with vista

I have the same problem .. please tell me if you have a solution for this
case ..?
