No Text!!!!!!

Hi All
I have just downloaded a download from microsoft
windows,saying the download would protect my computer
from hackers. As soon as my computer restarted after the
download was complete i noticed the background colour of
my screen had changed colour to what i had set it. I
also could not see any text in the web page i was viewing
prier. Certain things were still on the web page like
links but the text from the links was not there, i tried
system restore, but again the text was not there.
HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Hi, Kenny.

HOW did you download this? Are you SURE it was from Microsoft? We've all
seen many messages claiming to be from Microsoft, but using a forged From
address and in fact carrying viruses.

Did you get this from Windows Update? Or in some other way? Which update
was it?

Have you scanned your computer for viruses? Lately?
