| To all Cognoscenti, Greetings! I've installed Norton Ghost 12. When I try to run it I get the message "Error E1AD3212. You do not have sufficient privileges to perform this operation. See help for more information about security settings." The Security Configuration Tool of Norton Ghost shows that "Full control" and "Status only" are ticked for "Andy" and "Administrators." I'm logged on as "Andy", and I have administrator privileges. Clearing "Status only" clears "Full control" as well. They seem to be Siamese twins. Why won't Ghost run for me? Andy | Guest

| A disk scan has revealed problems with the security descriptors. Reinstalled Ghost, and now it works. Andy "Andy/Bandi" <kanadaiy@telus.net> wrote in message news:2BMni.57926$xk5.18766@edtnps82... Quote:
