Is there any particular reason not to run SpeedDisk in XP
with NTFS? I've been running it for quite some time now
and haven't had any issues.

Thanks,
Ash

Never? I have not seen any adverse affects, other than it does not last 24
hours. Please explain further.

System Doctor and XP don't get along to well. I have long since
disabled it. Once a month I use Speed disk and analyze my disks and
partitions. I don't do much unless there is 25-30 percent of
fragmenting. With the higher speed of disks and the large sizes,
defrag is not the problem it once was, in fact some people state that
defrag is a waste of time. I don't believe that, but the point being
that it is not a critical issue.

Speed disk will never get the defrag down to 0 percent.

I have used Norton since Peter Norton designed it and put it on the
market.

Dave
