Not enough storage to start easy transfer?

Posted: 04-04-2007, 07:26 PM
When trying to load WET onto my brand-spankin-new Vista Home Premium PC, it
gives me an error that states there is not enough storage to complete the
process. There is 200GB free on my C drive, and I have a gig of RAM! This
was with everything I could think of turned off...checked processes, and
nothing was using RAM, so whats the deal?
I have a small D recovery drive with only 900mb free, could it be trying to
go there? I dont know why, or how to redirect it if it is.

Well, another bungle by MS - why do they not tell you in their big easy
transfer website that WET is already loaded on my computer?????? FYI - it
was in Accessories/system tools. It took me four days of almost constant
searching to find this information.

I'm not quite sure why it took four days to discover this. Click the Start
orb, type in Windows Easy and up it pops. The integrated search feature is
nice.

An alternate route to this info, do a Google search on Vista Windows Easy
Transfer.
