You may have lost more than just notepad. Try running the System File
Checker to check for and replace missing system files.

Go to Start->Run and type
SFC /SCANNOW and click OK.

SFC will run for about 20 minutes. It will not tell you if or what was
replaced. When finished reboot your computer.

Hi Scoby,

Just do the following things :-

1) Just remove the notepad shortcut from your startup.

--> To open startup, click on Start menu and then go to programs menu where u can find startup. Just delete the notepad shortcut from there.

or Search for Startup folder from Search.
