Nv4_DISP.dll failing (BSOD) every startup

Posted: 06-19-2006, 10:06 AM
After a otherwise succesful installation of Vista Beta 2, I tried to boot up
for the first time. While attempting to load (and before any screens besides
the black one), I got a "Blue Screen Of Death", saying that the file Nv4_disp
had failed. I was able to boot into safe mode fine, but still cannot boot
normally. I have a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000 graphics card. I tried Nvidia's
site, but they do not currently have Vista drivers for this card. Is there
any solution besides waiting for Nvidia to eventually come out with those
drivers?
