nVidia 44.03 Driver sucks!

Posted: 07-07-2003, 12:20 AM
I recentlry updated my TNT2 M64 video card with the nvidia
44.03 dirver provided in windows update page. It really
suck despite having the WHQL certification. Poor
performance and problem with transparent windows forms
(the forms loose their transparency after first move of
the form). and running mouse on the form draws some thick
lines with the transparent color key.

I'm still using 43.45 on my GeForce4 MX440 64 meg Nvidia
card. It works and seems entirely stable. It even makes
Morrowind go like lightning. Windows XP doesn't like the
fact that it isn't signed, but I forced it down XP's
throat anyway, and my video is fine with every
application. Maybe it was one of Nvidia's better drivers.
