nVidia decoder and MM

Posted: 01-26-2005, 10:43 PM
Hey guys.

I've been trying to de-interlace some TV recordings (mpeg-2). I know I
could do this with Media Encoder - however I've got about 4 hours worth of
video and I've done some tests and I'd be looking at about 12 hours to do
all this. And I'd still use MM to edit them a bit anyway, so encoding twice
isn't ideal in this respect either.

So I thought of using something like nVidia's decoder, which de-interlaces
on the codec level. However I'm having trouble actually saving clips with
this codec, the estimated time just sky rockets up and nothing actually
happens.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear them. 8-)

Thanks!

Bingo! Lossless outputs as well.

Thanks! Now all I need is to overclock my Athlon 64 to 25Ghz so I can get
it done a tad faster. ;-)
