NVIDIA GeFource 6800 GS and ReadyBoost

Posted: 01-03-2007, 01:03 AM
I am using ForceWare version 96.85 and the NVIDIA control Panel version
1.3.9.1. I have dual monitors connected to an ASUS motherboard with AMD
Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processsor 4400. I am using Vista x64.

When I use ReadyBoost, I get a blue screen at startup. Vista tells me that
this is a driver issue: http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=293078

Also, I have extremely high Interrupts being generated (it consumes 70% of
one of the cores on the CPU). I believe this also comes from the graphics
card.

How do I disable hardware acceleration using the NVIDIA control panel? Other
suggestions to get better stability? I can't have 70% CPU utilization on 1
core all of the time, it slows down my PC too much.
