NVidia Sept. 27, 2002 update cannot install

Windows update says that I need to install "NVIDIA display
software update released on September 27, 2002."

Everytime I try to install this software, it begins to
download, then stops and says that this item has not been
installed, and for me to try again.

I have tried on several different occasions, at several
different times. My XP home edition, is currently up-to-
date on everything except for this one thing.

Any help would be appreciated.
