Odd Print Spooler Error

Posted: 08-16-2006, 06:14 PM
I hope I'm in the right place.

I use Remote Desktop to connect our 2 veterinary clinics. For some reason,
when I try to access one of the printers in "Printers and Faxes" within the
RD session, I get a message that the Print Spooler is not running. The
printer IS one that is connected to my local machine, and is added
automatically to the server by the RD session.

There are actually 4 printers (2 on the network at the server's location,
and 2 added by the RD session), but only 1 is giving this error message. The
print spooler *is* running. Can anyone shed some light on this?

If this would be better answered in another forum, just point me there and
I'd be happy to repost.
