Is the DVD one you burned? It sounds like a bad DVD. I have installed both
Office 2007 on Vista with burned DVD's and media from Microsoft with no
problems. It could also be a permissions problem. Try browsing to the Office
setup program, right click it, and pick Run as administrator.

Hello

Which version of Vista Beta are you trying to install it on. There is an issue I believe on earlier versions of Vista Beta that Off 2007 will not install on

I also have a perfectly functional Office beta installed, on build 5384.

Mind you, it took three days to allow Outlook to download mail when
installed. All seems good now.
