Offline files

I just upgraded my desktop OS from XP to Vista Home Premium and, in the
process, I lost my ability to make selected folders on my desktop available
for offline use on my laptop. My laptop runs Vista Business and was able to
make shared folders on the desktop available offline before this OS upgrade.
I have shared the desktop folder I want to be available offline and made sure
Everyone has full control. I can access the folder from my laptop but cannot
make it available offline. Please help.
