Offline Folders in Vista

Help, just upgrading to Vista Business from XP pro, and I can't seem to get
off line folders working right.

Click on a folder to make available offline, and receive errors on every
file :

"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another
process."

any help would be appreciated. Synchronization still works fine on my XP box.

help!!!

hi Jeff,

on vista click start, go to control panel select classic view, double
click offile files make sure its enabled. after that in control panel
select Sync Center. check what are the folders displaying there, if
nothing is displayed go to the folders that you want to be able to make
avilabale offiline. after that come back to the sync center and select
the folder and create a schedule its a Wizard. This should get you
connected. also make sure that when your are trying to make a folder
offile that no one else is using it.

Hope this helps

Cheers !!

thanks, bu No, this didn't seem to help. My problem is that the system seems
to think everything single network file is in use.

I have found some information about enabling "opportunisitic locking" in
WS2003, and the network admin assures me that it is set up correctly. In
addition, ANY network file I use, including windows 2000 server folders on an
old server act the same way...
