Offline Sync of Files

I have a user that has a network folder he syncs for
offline access. He is now having an issue of syncing up
any new folders. When syncing up it is set to sync this
folder and all sub folders. When doing a sync on the
folders he is getting an error message of "Reached the
end of file." under the results tab of the
synchronization complete box. Tried to look up that
issue on Micosoft's web site to see what the issue is-no
luck. I also tried to increase the size of his offline
folder and when i do that and apply it it goes back to
some default size. Any help would be appreciated.
