Re: Ok to kill IDE Controller in Device Manager?

I got a similar problem cause my CD - R/W didn't work; I killed the IDE
controller with no damage, but although after restarting the two channel
seem correctly set my CDRW is still not working properly.
Please wait for someone's more expert answer before proceeding.
